In an industrial complex in Bhiwandi, surrounded by power loom mills and warehouses, Anirit Agritech has a state-of-the-art indoor hydroponics and aquaponics farm, which serves as a test unit to demonstrate hydroponics and derivative technologies. In this farm we grow plants like basil, oregano, lettuce, pok choi, rosemary, baby spinach, etc. in identical NFT racks, cooled with an industrial AC system, using red and blue grow lights. The red and blue grow lights promote flowering and vegetative growth, and lead to a cool neon pink glow that can be observed in the pictures. We use a very innovative controller to maintain the light, temperature, humidity, and CO2 conditions needed for proper farming.
Our products grown here have ZERO pesticides or fungicides used in them, which leads to superior taste, aroma, and appearance of our products. We also have a small aquarium where we fine tune the biochemical conditions that allow both commercial fish, like tilapia or snapper, to coexist and thrive with commercial crops like lettuce or broccoli in a mixture of aquaponics and deep water culture. This test aquarium helps demonstrate the true potential and synergy of aquaponics technology. This is Anirit's first indoor farm, and it not only serves as a commercially viable indoor farm, but also as a great R&D unit to really understand the exact conditions needed for successful intensive hydroponic farming.
